While I was away

I practised my podcasting to little effect. It is still atrocious and I apologise profusely. I was sober though, I am trying to pretend to be a bit drunk, as a character. I hope that doesn’t upset anybody. There is no swearing and I was fully clothed.

Well that was just pluperfect. I’ve always thought that the best way to remember something is not to think about it! You have a lovely voice. I think all your stuff should be podcast, especially as you don’t like punctuation. It removes ambiguity.
Hippo pyjamas indeed. This is lovely. Even your voice sounds lighter. Laughing at your own jokes… tut tut. Ha!
There is a definite appeal to this ‘practiced’ delivery, Paul. So much so that it hardly sounds practiced at all. Brilliant! And I noticed the references to Kiersty’s writing as well. Very inspiring.
Thankyou. You are too kind. I have disabled downloading but if you would like a copy just ask here…
I would, much yes, please.
I like the ‘lo-fi’-ness of it, how I can hear papers shuffling / rustling while you read, and like Brad said, the fact that it doesn’t sound practised. Your voice fits the piece (as it should). For what it’s worth I thought you sounded slightly drunk! (It’s all in the way the voice flows)
